The Left Nest Business Community is not just a workspace. It is a multifunctional hub that accommodates communication, meetings, entertainment, and activities. The design team, led by Haipeng Xiao, has ensured that this space serves as a haven for relaxation and leisure after work. This innovative approach to office design has earned the project the prestigious Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2019.
The design of the Left Nest Business Community is deeply rooted in the history of computer technology. The overall space design, including the arc copper tube in the ceiling and the customized steel screen with special digital elements, reflects this inspiration. The main materials used in the construction include punched aluminum plate, craft brick, stainless steel, terrazzo, and steel plate.
The community is composed of various functional spaces such as tearooms, training rooms, negotiation rooms, conference rooms, meditation rooms, roadshow areas, exhibition areas, bars, and brainstorming rooms. Each region has its unique meaning, covering the three floors and even the entire building. This diverse range of facilities caters to the different needs of its users, making it a versatile space for both work and leisure.
One of the unique features of the Left Nest Business Community is its interaction design. The tearoom, a necessary element in Chinese business negotiations, also serves as a place for meditation and quiet thinking. The brainstorming room, on the other hand, is designed for team innovation. The LED light in the bar can adjust its color temperature according to the atmosphere, enhancing the comfort of the space.
Located in Raffles Plaza, the core business district of CBD in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, the Left Nest Business Community spans more than 6,000 square meters. It is more than just a co-working space. It is a testament to Haipeng Xiao's innovative approach to design, a space that seamlessly blends work and leisure, and a shining example of the future of office spaces.
Haipeng Xiao's Left Nest Business Community is a testament to the transformative power of design. By reimagining the concept of office spaces, it provides a unique environment that caters to both professional and personal needs, setting a new standard for future co-working spaces.
